The organization will ensure all appropriate measures are in place for a safe conference. Proof of vaccination will be required to attend. Please make sure you are familiar with Portugal’s Covid-19 restrictions for travelling. We anticipate that the EU digital COVID Certificate will be sufficient to travel to Portugal and attend the conference, but continue to monitor the government’s guidelines regarding testing and other restrictions.

Most restrictions have been recently lifted and Portugal has a very high rate of vaccinated and boosted population. Masks are mandatory in all indoor spaces except while having meals, you may also be required to sanitise your hands upon entrance of businesses or museums. In events, such as this conference, some restrictions are in place regarding number of attendees and spacing, these are specific for each venue/room and will be properly indicated.

Auto-tests (antigen) are readily available in all pharmacies and there are numerous official testing facilities across town that will provide a travel certificate. There are both wait in line or scheduled modalities and any pharmacy will provide you with further information.
